2. What data do we collect?

• Contact and business information you send us, such as your name, email address, company, and message.
• Information you share while discussing or delivering an engagement.
• Basic technical information needed to operate and protect this website, such as request, device, and security logs.

We do not ask you to send sensitive personal data through this website.

3. Why and on what basis do we use it?

• To answer enquiries and take steps toward a contract at your request.
• To deliver and administer agreed services under a contract.
• To keep our website secure and improve our services where this is in our legitimate interests.
• To meet legal obligations that apply to DataYard.

4. Who receives the data?

We only share data with service providers needed to run our business, such as hosting, email, and professional advisers, or where the law requires it. Providers may process data only for the agreed purpose and under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data. For website consent management we use Cookiebot (Usercentrics A/S, Denmark), and, only if you consent, Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited).

5. Where is data processed?

We design our services around EU data residency. If a necessary provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we use a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards. Google may transfer analytics data to the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses a necessary cookie to remember your cookie choice. With your consent we also use Google Analytics statistics cookies to understand how visitors find and use the site, for example which pages are viewed and which channel brought the visit. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for 2 months.

7. How long do we keep it?

Enquiries that do not lead to work are reviewed and removed when they are no longer useful. Contract and accounting records are kept for periods required by Estonian law.

Depending on the situation, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive your data, or object to its use. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
